Frank Fusco is Chief Financial Officer at Piermont Bank, where he oversees the Bank’s financial management functions, financial planning and analysis, deposit and loan operations, ensuring strong fiscal discipline, operational control and sound financial performance across the organization.
Frank has over 30 years of financial services experience and a deep track record of leadership in banking finance, operations, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Piermont Bank’s founding team, Frank served as the Chief Financial Officer of Astoria Bank, which was at one time a $20+ billion bank that was successfully merged into Sterling National Bank. At Astoria Bank, he was responsible for treasury operations, investments, accounting operations, investor relations, financial, management and tax reporting areas, the financial planning area and the information services area of the bank and Astoria Financial Corporation.
Earlier in his career, Frank began as an auditor with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., predecessor to KPMG LLP, and as an officer of another thrift institution, grounding his expertise in both public accounting and bank finance operations.
Frank is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.
